Food Assistance & Basic Needs Support

Good health starts with a full stomach and the basics covered.

Overview

Peninsula Healthcare Connection believes that access to nutritious food and basic necessities is the foundation of good health. We provide food assistance and basic needs support to individuals and families across our community, with a focus on those facing homelessness or housing insecurity.

Food is often where support begins and trust is built. Through community outreach and our food closet, we distribute basic needs essentials to low-income and unhoused residents while connecting them to wrap-around services that address the bigger picture. Every bag of groceries and every supply kit is a chance to build a relationship and link someone to the healthcare, housing, and resources that help them move toward stability.
