PHC is powered by people who are deeply invested in what they do. Our staff survey makes that clear: engagement is approaching 87%, 95% of team members understand how their work contributes to the mission, and 94% say that work gives them a sense of purpose. That kind of alignment shows up in the way our teams operate and in the consistency and quality of care our communities can depend on.
We’ve built an environment we’re deeply proud of, one grounded in trust, respect, and accountability. Leadership is a big part of that. More than 91% of staff report strong relationships with their managers, 94% say they’re treated with respect, and 93% feel supported in both their personal and professional lives. Just as important is sustainability. This work is demanding, and we believe it should also be sustainable. 91% of our staff say they have the flexibility to manage their lives outside of work, and 86% say taking time off is actively encouraged. We back that up with true investment, covering approximately 90% of medical premiums and ensuring full access to healthcare and retirement benefits across the organization.
